New Happy Hour Laws in British Columbia

I laugh whenever I hear people say that happy hour is finally here.  Really?  Actually like downloading movies which is considered illegal, happy hours have always been around.  But with the “official” new liquor laws, here’s are the restrictions: the lowest price bars can charge is $3 per drink; 2 for 1 drinks is prohibited; restaurants have to offer a food menu but patrons don’t have to order food; customers can take a drink to another establishment next door if it is part of the same business restaurants can now advertise happy hour specials. Here’s a few things you might not know: I have about 10 pages of happy hour specials, Weekdays, Oyster specials, Every day, Monday, Tuesday, etc. and I add new happy hours every week I don’t have time to check ALL the happy hours to make sure they are current and count on the restaurants or for people to comment and let me know they have changed sometimes restaurants will post happy hours on their facebook and not on their website; if you subscribe to restaurant newsletters; you’ll get an opportunity to sign up for wine pairing specials and some will even give away a dinner for two to subscribers……… AND IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, HERE’S A LINK TO ALL MY HAPPY HOUR PAGES AND I’VE JUST RECENTLY ADDED SOME CRAZY $3 DRINK SPECIALS!
